Our Impact
Two Paths Toward Change
At Uplift Her Hub, we believe in transformation through two interdependent ways:
Immediate Impact – The direct and indirect benefits teenage mothers gain from our training, mentorship, and support programs.
Lasting Change – The long-term improvements in their lives, aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), leading to financial independence, emotional resilience, and community growth.
The Story Behind Our Data
Our data tells a powerful story—a story of resilience, empowerment, and transformation. It reflects how Uplift Her Hub, together with partners, local communities, and project participants, is working every day to uplift young mothers, break cycles of poverty, and create sustainable livelihoods.
By placing young single mothers and the youth at the center, we ensure that the most vulnerable are not just supported but empowered to lead change in their own lives and communities. Our data-driven approach allows us to listen—to the numbers, the success stories, and the voices of those we serve. It helps us celebrate achievements, recognize challenges, and continuously improve our impact.
Our Reach
We measure our reach annually (July to June) by assessing both direct and indirect impact:
Direct Reach – Teenage mothers and young women who receive hands-on training, counseling, mentorship, financial support, or business resources from Uplift Her Hub.
Indirect Reach – The families, children, and communities that benefit when our trained participants share their skills, income, and knowledge.
For example, when Amina, a teenage mother, receives training in soap making and entrepreneurship, she directly benefits from our program. When she uses her skills to start a business, earn an income, and support her family, her impact extends beyond herself—creating indirect reach.
Lasting Impact
We track long-term improvements using measurable indicators aligned with the SDGs. These include:
Economic Empowerment – Participants gain sustainable incomes through livelihood projects, breaking financial dependency.
Psychosocial Well-being – Counseling and peer support help teenage mothers heal from trauma and rebuild their confidence.
Community Transformation – Our structured animal-named groups (e.g., Lioness, Elephant, Dove) encourage teamwork, leadership, and social support, fostering long-term growth.
For instance, by empowering Amina through soap-making business project, we’re not just providing a skill—we’re enabling her to achieve financial independence, support her child, and become a leader in her community.
Listening & Learning for Greater Impact
The voices of teenage mothers, their families, and communities shape our work. We constantly analyze our data to understand what’s working, where we can improve, and how we can deepen our impact. Every number represents a life changed, a story rewritten, and a future transformed.
At Uplift Her Hub, we are not just offering training—we are building pathways to dignity, opportunity, and lasting change.
